In older versions of Qubicle when you make a selection you have the option to push or pull the selection basically like an extrusion of the selected voxels. I am currently using version 3.1.2 and I cant seem to find and Google searches aren’t showing any results has it been removed?
@workinChris You can still extrude a selection by holding Ctrl-PC and Command-Mac and then using the arrow keys to direct the extrusion.
You can learn more about it here: http://minddesk.com/learn/article.php?id=105&oid=27
I suggest also reading everything in the “Learn” database, like read everything (it won’t take that long). You can find the main database here: http://www.minddesk.com/learn/
If you have any other problems, that cant be resolved by reading the “Learn” database or cant be solved on this forum, then I suggest contacting the developer here: http://www.minddesk.com/contact.php
Good luck! I hope I helped:
Thanks for the response, I’ve also realized the 2.5D options are missing. Personally the push pull function seemed handy for making quick tweaks to certain areas that I wanted to add or subtract from by making selections using the magic wand tool or the 2.5D marquee selection. Selecting and duplicating voxels seems to require more clicks to achieve the same results that I got from simply clicking “push”
As I said in my last response, I highly suggest reading everything in the “Learn” database, like read everything (it won’t take that long). You can find the main database here: http://www.minddesk.com/learn/
